Being directly involved with major commercial rebuild projects in Canterbury, we recently completed the Mid-City/Ballantynes project which we are covered all the electrical, mechanical services and escalator work within the project. We are a progressive company and are raising the bar for providing premier electrical and elevator service in Canterbury.

Due to our high quality of management expertise including degrees as qualified electrical engineer and electrical inspectors we are able to advise in determining requirements for present and future electrical, mechanical services and elevator needs.

D&M Solutions Limited is a New Zealand owned and operated company based in Canterbury since 2007, with over 100 years combined experience within the New Zealand construction and contracting industry.

D&M Solutions Limited prides itself in being able to provide our clients with a wide range of services in the Electrical, Elevator and Mechanical Services industries and will work from design concept to completion and provide a complete professionally managed site with set milestones and key performance indicators.

Our Team

Our team are vital to the success of our business. We have outlined two of our team members and although between them they bring a wealth of experience, they are not alone.

Stuart Mitchell

Managing Director
Stuart has over 20 years experience in the electrical engineering, hazardous areas, elevator and consultancy fields. In addition to this, Stuart was a Project Manager and a Senior Consulting Engineering. This background and knowledge of the demands in the roles, means he has a better understanding than most others in his industry.

Stuart recognised the need and client demand for other specialist divisions managed by highly skilled and industry recognised personnel.

25 years in the lift and escalator industry with experience in all aspects of Elevator Technical Sales, Installation, Service and Project Management.

Alongside the above key personnel our team consists of electricians, apprentices, refrigeration technicians, lift engineers, mechanical fitters and administration staff. We have a broad range of relationships with sub-contractors to cover varying workloads or specialised works of expertise.

In addition we have a Health and Safety Officer, Tendering Team, Accounts Team and extended network of suppliers. D& M have a dynamic combination of skills that you won’t find anywhere else.
